Research, Education and Innovation

Dr. Peter Clark heads the Alberta Sulphur Research Ltd., which integrates research and education activities

To seize these opportunities, it will be necessary to increase our R&D focus and efforts. This will require a closing of the investment gap in R&D, a gap that has grown over the past two decades.

The key necessary to unlock the large economic and environmental benefits will be strong and sustained leadership and commitments, along with the combined and integrated talents of researchers from many different disciplines, perspectives and organizations.

Achieving the benefits will require integrating energy types and systems, research and education, energy, environmental and economic dimensions and systems, and developing a strong innovation culture.
